Farnborough Air Show, In terms of platforms, this is the big one!

21,000m2 of system platforms installed within and outside an array of structures at one of the worlds biggest Airshows

As the shows official platform contractor the importance of great communication is paramount. We have to be at the top of our game when working with the organiser in the ever changing environment, dealing with over two hundred stand contractors from 20 different countries and 15 other official show contractors.

To be able to supply Farnborough Air Show with the required amount of platform, we designed, manufactured and delivered 11,500m2 of the now market leading Elevate Flooring System. This product is perfect for this event as we install all the platforms before the majority of the stand contractors arrive. When they do, they can take out any tile within the floor making locating and running cables a breeze, which is a good job because there is over 200 stand contractors working at the show!

Farnborough Airshow is a large and challenging project to complete on time and to the service level expected. This is only made possible by the quality of the official show contractors and a very forward thinking organiser, we are proud to be part of this event.

In 2016 we were announced their official Platform contractor, proof of the excellent service we deliver to customers.

We, Farnborough International Ltd (FIL), appointed Expo Floors as our official platform contractor for the Farnborough International Air Show (FIA) on a three show contract which began in 2014. The contract is based on the installation and removal of 21,000m2 of raised floor system, as part of the Exhibitor stand packages, for each show.

For Expo Floors to be able to fulfil the contract they designed and manufactured over 11,500m2 of new system platform made from recycled plastic called Eco Elevate. This new product, made in the UK, was one of the deciding factors for appointing Expo Floors.

The Expo Floors team fitted in to the team of official contractors immediately and went out of their way to be helpful and considerate to all of the companies they came into contact with. Working with stand building contractors, exhibitors from over 20 countries and a further 15 official show contractors they went above and beyond to ensure the job was completed on time and to a very high standard.

The account management and service they gave to us as the organiser was at a very high level and any request from us was met with a willingness to understand and help in the appropriate way every time.
